At ExoEarth Global 2026, we are advancing a next-generation health science framework based on real-world biological data and AI analysis, in collaboration with internationally recognized researchers in the field of EV and exosome science.
Takahiro Ochiya is one of Japan’s leading researchers in the field of extracellular vesicles (EVs) and exosome science, serving as Specially Appointed Professor and Director of the Division of Molecular and Cellular Medicine at the Institute of Medical Science, Tokyo Medical University.
His research spans a wide range of areas, from fundamental EV biology to clinical applications, including intercellular communication mediated by extracellular vesicles, cancer metastasis mechanisms, biomarker discovery, liquid biopsy, and diagnostic and therapeutic applications.
In addition to serving as President of the Japanese Society for Extracellular Vesicles (JSEV), Professor Ochiya also chairs APSEV2026 / JSEV2026, contributing to the advancement of international EV research networks and scientific collaboration.
At ExoEarth Global 2026, Professor Ochiya serves as Scientific Advisor, supporting the development of a next-generation health science framework integrating EVs science, AI analysis, and real-world biological data.
